Frame Building in the USA

Posted on September 13, 2014 at 6:36pm 17 Comments

I've been quiet on here the last few month. I've been busy.

I've spent the last two months in the US, doing a lot of bike related activities - a frame building course, a mechanics course, riding around cities, riding in the mountains, lying in hospital...

I've been a bit slack with my blogging, but have managed to get the first half of the trip up now, covering a few days on…

Where are our bikes?

Posted on May 5, 2012 at 10:36am 9 Comments

I think this one is a bit tough, so I will give you a few clues:

1. These aren't technically our bikes. We had to leave ours at home and rent these for the day but they did the job well, nice light aluminum hybrids with Shimano Alfine 8 Speed hubs.

2. We were about to stop for lunch…

Berry Bike Project

Fiona wants a new bike, and what she wants she tends to get!

Her Breezer Uptown is great for getting her around comfortably, but after my debut in Audax she has expressed the desire for something a little more suited to longer rides so we can do them together. This morning I was happy to be riding on a steel frame.

Cruising straight down Enmore Rd at around 40km/h on my newish Fuji Touring, I saw ahead of me near the Enmore Theatre a car on the other side of the road, stationary, indicating to turn right. When I was about 20m from the…

Yep, but Mr O's post is less ambiguous and is clearly referring to a post which has been deleted and it is rather insightful into that poster's motives.

Except as I have just noted, he is invoking your name. Oh well, we just have to get him to delete his post as well.

Or, here's a good idea, Damian could do it!!
