In the early 1900s the motoring industry had a bad image, deaths were high and motorists were seen as rampaging monsters with no care for human life.  Because of this the uptake of new motorists was…Continue

It's My Anniversary, send some love

I'll start this stating that I've always liked cycling.    My father bought me the bike he wanted to have when he was younger, I wanted a dragster.  My first bike was a Peugeot racer, learnt to ride on it and used it for everything, while my mates were sliding through corners in the dirt I was doing the same corners at speed, leaning hard and loving the speed.…

Sorry for the delay, I've been traveling - yup, I'm working there Monday and Friday afternoons (when I'm in the country), couldn't pick a better place to work in Sydney.

Unfortunately I'm going to miss my planned comeback ride - was expecting to get back to Australia on the 12th in time to ride on the 13th, but I actually leave for Australia on the 12th and don't get back until 7am on the 13th so I'm not going to be making the start line. :( It will need to wait at least a week or so before I do another brevet.
