"Gosh. Good thing I'm not sitting for HSC.  It's actually AUD 170 for 10 hours for the Melbourne bike share. (Assumming 9hrs 59minutes) Or just AUD 77 for Brisbanes version. https://abo-brisbane.cyclocity.fr "

"Bike share just isn't the same as bike rental. To balance the view; 10 hours at http://www.melbournebikeshare.com.au/pricing would set you back aud140. And 4hours aud60.  Makes PAYis look cheap as Frites! Anyway, its…"

"Agreed, this particular bike sharing scheme was designed for short trips that locals would make, using bicycles as bridging transport. As a tourist, you pay a higher price if you are disorganised and not terribly au fe with all the details of…"

About Me:
Born and raised in Que Que, Rhodesia, lived through the 'liberation struggle' and 'transformation' of Rhodesia into Zimbabwe. Went to Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town. Worked in advertising up in Johannesburg and survived commuting on my bike in Jo'berg traffic. Founding member of Johannesburg MTB Club where I met the love of my life. Raced XC at national & provincial level. Established and edited RIDE magazine, and co-authored 4 books on MTB in RSA. After baby nr. 3, we decided that the 'transformation' of South Africa shared too many ominous similarities with that of Zimbabwe and there wasn't going to be a pot of gold for us or our kids at the end of the Rainbow Nation...thus we embarked upon the very difficult (and expensive) decision in 2004 to wipe out our entire identity and network in one flight far, far south to Sydney. Becoming more thickly settled as each year passes, although I do sometimes miss the wild freedom of chaos, and the lack of stifling regulation that is life in Africa...

The coolest kind of artwork, is one that can take you places... I'm extremely chuffed with how my latest custom airbrushed Phoenix bike turned out. Now I'm sharing the ride-with you!

This is a my piece of Functional Art. For a change, I have custom airbrushed a new, plain black carbon fibre hardtail mtb frame for myself. My left-brained husband built it up for me from all the…

Hello Susanne

You can find out about Wollongong cycleway here
http://www.wollongong.nsw.gov.au/facilities/sportrec/Pages/cycleways.aspx

The ride north along the beaches is nice provided the wind isn't howling like it has been the past week.
