Recommendations for a weekend cycling trip
I searched the forum for something else like this and didn't find anything, so apologies if it's all been said before...My friend and I want to go for an overnight ride next weekend. We expect to drive somewhere for a couple of hours, find somewhere to camp and do a couple of out and back type rides. - I have a road bike built from a second hand 'Olmo' steel frame and assorted shimano bits that someone gave me - it's very classy. And a Kona King Kikapu dual suspension mountain bike.

- I'm a beginner to the road but loving it. I only do cross-country mtb and not very well either. Just looking to build my skills and fitness. I also dive and spearfish, so if I'm not on a bike....I'm usually in the water.

- The Tassie tour guys were good. Well organised very knowledgeable and very good riders. Had plenty of good equipment which was in good working order too.
Only did a short trip with them but was very fun and would certainly use them again.
