That is an issue, because a 10 speed chain is narrower than the 9 speed chain, so the pulleys in the new derailleur are not the correct size for…"

First commute yesterday - 50 km round trip

Well, yesterday was my first commute from Castle Cove (near Chatswood) to Matraville (Eastern Suburbs). 25 km each way. It took me 2 hours for the morning leg and 1 hr and 45 minutes for the afternoon leg. Somewhat longer than I thought :-P .
Have to say that I did enjoy it and did not feel as intimidated by the traffic as I thought I might. I was, however, caught by surprise when I returned home and dismounted the bike. I was shaking slightly, felt extremely tired,… Continue
