A vintage Speedwell, circa 1960
A vintage Bennett circa 1980
A Giant ladies cypress
I usually ride my loopframe Speedwell around town, I blog about riding in Newcastle and occasionally Sydney. I've had the speedwell since I was a child, now it's a bit of a frankenbike in the attempt to keep it roadworthy, but it's much more comfortable than any modern bike I've ridden so I prefer to ride it whenever I can. I restored the Bennett so it's more of a city bike and find that when I ride it I get around much faster. I have a child seat on the back of my Giant now so I can take my grandson riding too. My daughter has a Nihola three wheel cargo bike that she carries both her children in as well.
