- I only have one bike at the moment. It's a Koga Miyata Ranndoneur. With Brooks saddle makes very nice cycling. It takes me places where others don't normally get to which is spot on for me.
- About Me:
- I like long distance riding and exploring, getting to places to find out what is there . I'm interested in the geology and natural fauna of Aus as well so the two go hand hand really. I'm 35 recently from England and looking to find cycling buddys to explore with.

We're all booked in, we just need to figure out how to get our bikes there, BQ offer a courier service at $60 per bike to get them up to Yeppoon (which is probably the way we'll go), last year we got them couriered back from Brisbane, $35 for the pair (which is probably what we'll do again as we'll go back to Dale's brothers place in Brisbane after the event finishes in Bundaberg). Virgin allows an extra 5kg if you're taking a bike (I'd love to see a 5kg bike!), last year we took them on the plane on the way up to Brisbane, but we were over the limit and had to pay $120 in excess baggage anyway. All fun and games, but the experience is worth it. I'm sure you've got a lot of travel stories with you bike over the years!
