I've been salivating over a Bullitt for some time, but was a bit put off when I found out they are a bit on the heavy side (their website says 24kg).  Does the weight bother you?

Regards, Alister

hi Alister

I have never noticed the weight, I think the Bullitt is the lightest long-john on the market, people that have done a test ride on my bike say it feels just like a normal bike. The frame is low & weight distributed directly below the rider. The front end is very light.

A strong side wind I find most awkward. I also feel the Bullitt has a handling sweet spot when it carries 15-20 kg on the deck. I am going to fit a steering damper because unloaded it is very fast & wippy,(plus I fitted high pressure kojaks).

I can track-stand or roll very slowly at traffic lights with a full load (+/-60kg) and I can turn almost in its own radius. The Bullitt is the same width as a normal bike which also surprises people.

Once you ride a Bullitt there is no going back.........
