About Me:
I'm a life long doc, Film director now making film primarily for my bike blog via YouTube.

Like Mikael Colville -Andersen, (I have just posted an interview with him on my blog) my aims are to promote urban commuter cycling here, to help that along by promoting Bike Share on the Bixi Montreal Model.

All of which involves moving our bike culture at least in part towards the safe cycle mode, the sit-up bike. This bike style is choice of virtually all European utility cyclists, and of all bike share schemes around the world, and with good reason, it is safer, friendlier, and simpler.

I'm also a big supporter of E bikes for older riders and for hilly areas such as the Central coast where I live. The E bike is breakthrough technology as yet under the radar here.

it's no accident that the Dutch, who are the most successful utility cyclists in the world, purchased 150,000 E bikes this year, making these the fastest growing market segment

Howdo Mike
Could you set up an e-bike group?
I dont ride one but like to think that as this is a growing sector of cycling it would be great to have a spot on this site which we could drop news and info re all things e-bs.
This would also be a easy way to track the new tech guff for example this was on the abc,
The electric gas station

http://www.abc.net.au/rn/futuretense/stories/2010/2811182.htm

Would be nice to see some e bike recharge depots in and around all of our cities...
