"Two things- If bikes are so gnarly and scary,why do pedestrians constantly want to step out in front of me. Secondly if the cyclists they spoke to were on the Bouke St. cycleway I am suprised because usage is low."

Just put a deposit on a custom frame from them (for a tourer though) and will get them to build it up for me with my own bits so will let you know what I think. so many decisions to make though! Hi there Stuart.
Welcome to the site. There are lots of good off the rack single speed options around at the moment. I think the SE lagers that cheeky stock look kinda cool. I ride the Masi, obviously I love that. There is a Giant that I think looks a bit clunky. The new Bike Depot shop that recently opened up on Enmore rd has a few nice options too

Hey Stu, there will be two art events at this year's Bicycle Film Festival, both opening on Thursday night from 6pm, November 12th. The first is at Monster Children, Riley St Darlinghurst, and the second is at Luck & Wolf, also in Darlinghurst. I believe the MC gallery exhibition is running for a couple of weeks.
