Paris - Roubaix on SBS

Hi All
More from the shameless self-promotion files ....
SBS sport is going to whet the appetite for their live broadcast of the 2008 Paris Roubaix on Sunday April 13 at 11am. It features race footage, interviews with Paul Sherwen, Scott Sunderland and (of course) Our Stuey. The Paris - Roubaix will broadcast live that night at 10:10pm. Should be a bleary Monday morning.

Fear of bikes

I'm afraid!

And it's good.

The fear comes from the fact that moving from an MTB to a track bike and a road bike means the machines I am riding now are much less stable than the one I have been riding for a couple of years.

Moss Vale to Berry (61km)

Berry to Bulli (110km)

If you'd be interested… Continue

My new super suit

I went to a conference last week at which I was offered the chance to wear an ankle-to-head blue lycra super suit for 45 minutes, in return for which $450 would be donated to the Starlight Foundation.

It was a no-brainer, so I did it. But to my surprise the company concerned gave me the super suit.

So I am now the proud owner of one super suit.

Now ... there's a certain inevitability that I will wear it again. The kids think the… Continue

Pedestrian psychopath ahead

I had a really freaky experience on Saturday working as a Route Marshall at the “Gear Up Girl” women’s cycling event. The event was the first all women’s bike ride to celebrate International Women’s Day. I spent a good part of the morning directing women cyclists along he shared cyclepath/ pedestrian walkway at Brighton Le Sands. As they passed, I asked them slow down and watch for pedestrians as they… Continue
