Thought that this bollard system would be unique enough to be quite rare. Can't get the bike and trailer through and decided I didn't want to take the kids out, take the trailer off, then lift everything over, so I just stopped here took the photo and continued riding.…

i've been (what I consider serious) cycling for around 13 months now . I entered in the B2B a couple of months ago, and after reading a thread on SC about racing, decided I'd dip my toe into the racing scene again.
The Beaumont Rd Criteriums hosted by NSCC was where I was headed, and had no idea about how i'd go, how quick i would be, and what the rules & etiquette were all about.

Shopping by bike.
Today I rode to the shops after a Pedal Power ride. It has been a while since I did a full shopping load by bike. I loaded the calico bags I use for shopping into the panniers and rode off to Westfield Woden. Most of the way was bike path, however I did use the road for part of the way.

1983 Malvern Star Sprint 12
So, I picked up a new toy a few days ago.
Well, I use the term "new" loosely. This "new " toy is 27 years old. But it's "new" in the sense that I'm the first consumer to have purchased it from the retailer.
It's a 1983 Malvern Star Sprint 12.
