Cycling in Sydney Australia
I have been catching up with friends and family by riding from Canberra to Goulburn catching the train to either Springwood or Lithgow. I usually take the Federal Highway to Gollector then ride to Breadlebane and take the Hume Highway shoulder to Goulburn. For all my plaintive musings about cars, buses, trucks, taxis and motorbikes and all the cheap and nasty moves they pull around me of a morning and evening; Sydney Cyclist has truly opened my eyes to the incredible tolerance of the majority of Sydney drivers.

I occasionally take my bike on the train, which is easy enough to do. But the situation in San Fransisco is different because taking your bike on the train has become too popular - even though they have dedicated carriages for cyclists there's still not enough room. The full story is at Cyclicious.
