Cycling in Sydney Australia

Left behind by the Yanks of all people!

I'm currently in Arizona and the cover story in one of the sections in the newspaper "USA today" was entitled "The Bicycle Revolution". It was a two page story on two-wheel touring but also had a top 10 list of best bike-friendly states. No. 1 was the state of Washington and the worst state was West Virginia (so don't go there with a bike is the message). I suppose people may be able to find a link on the web to this article but I thought I would share it with everyone back home - to me it was a suprising find since I thought it was one area where we were miles ahead of the Yanks. However, there are a couple of railtrails over here that are a couple of hundred miles long! Pretty cool, but where ours??? Yeah yeah I knkow we have them but not that long.
hooroo!

While you're over there, you might want to have a look at the 14,500k of completed sections of the Trans Canada Trails at http://www.tctrail.ca/home.php
