Asshole in Centenial Park. Happy Halloween.

Last night ... at about 5.30 pm. On my way to a fancy Dress gig.It was not a busy time in respect of traffic or amount of bikes.

I was riding through Centennial Park from Clovelly Road to the Horse Gate (Federation Way)

I was on a bike a had just set up and it was a no brakes fixie. I was riding along and I was doing less than 20 km/hour. I was riding on the white line as I was riding a little bit faster than some beginners and I noticed up ahead a guy on either a Linskey or a Lightspeed (yellow sticker).Definitely a Ti bike as it had "THAT" colour of a raw but glossed Ti .

He had on some pixel coloured cammo green arm bands... The rider a man wearing an IPood was in the middle of the bike lane doing about 15 km/hour... he was about 6 feet in front of me alone and started to drift to the right towards my line of on the line that boarders the bike and car lane... just as we crossed the creek at the ASH picnic area, just before the kids track.

I gently rang my bell.. "ding" he looks around and says.

"If you knock me over I will knock the living fuck out of you"

... now I might have been wearing a pumpkin mask for Halloween but this was the most ridiculous thing any middle aged almost fat guy has ever said to me whilst I was riding a bike...

I told him.. "Try keeping your line and frankly I am confident that it would me who would knock the fuck out of you".

I rode the same speed and did not look back... I exited the Horse Gate.

What bothers me is the aggro this guy had.. is this the norm.. or was he just angry at Miranda Devine?
