Just saw this over at the Lazy Randonneur:

I don't know about the cost effectiveness of using 4 x EL530s, but I like the double stem idea. Going to file this away for future reference...

How tall must that guy be to have his bars up there?

And if he is such a lazy randonneur, how does he keep his white bar tape so clean?

Nice baa-cons, but.

Being rather old and decrepit, I like my stem being right up there:

I will be changing my current inelegant setup for something else rather soon, probably involving a steerer extender and a road stem.

I fitted a Minoura Swing Grip the other day, but its not pretty, and this idea interests me.

But there is no room for the air horns :(

Perhaps another bar under the lights.

Hey, good idea. I could do with some extra space for handlebar accessories.

I think it would be better to have an accessory bar that attaches to the main bar the way individual accessories do, so that the whole lot of accessories can be detached and reattached in one go.

The 520 has a 3rd bidon cage braze under the downtube for the air bottle, and I have a bright green AirzZound sitting on a shelf in the garage. ;-)

Trouble is, I think it just looks too gauche. It may, however, be an appropriate accessory for the bright tangerine coloured Bianchi Osprey I acquired the other day:

That being said, I would consider mounting a pair of these 120db beauties on an accessory bar on the 520:

Available from Wolo.

I just need to figure out the electrical side of it, and how to fit a rechargeable 12v battery somewhere.

Ooh Robert, I do love the way you refer to that orange bike as "tangerine" - so "now" girlfriend!

I think it's just groovy, baby. :-)

the pristine white bar tape is indicative of his laziness - never been used :-)

Some is good, more is better, too much is just enough
