Cycling in Sydney Australia
Lunch by the Rhine in one moment when I wasn't lost in more pouring rain.
The rhine route is kind of well marked but miss one and here we go - lost again in the pouring rain. How hard can it be just to follow a river, well first find your river.
Here is the very mouth of the old rhine at Katwijk aan zee
My companion is not impressed
Here is a bit more old rhine at alphen aan den rijn
This is the real rhine at Koln
This is where I turned off up the Mosel at Koblenz
The peaceful mosell, its grapes all the way.
Every scrag of land is under grape vines.
Now I am holed up in Hospental Switzerland near the Rhine glacier. Do I head out into the rain to slog up another 2000m pass to pay one last visit to that great river at it's source? Stay tuned
