Link is good now. Thanks.
So many bike boxes.
The road through the timber (day 3) looks picturesque.
Tandem with fram coupling. Nice.
So many tents and not a bike in sight. (nannup).
Nannup, Ballingup, Manjimup ... Toure de 'ups.

Ahhh!  That brings back memories of a tour that the "Leader of the Opposition" and I did on our tandem in 1998.  We rode from Bunbury, Dunsborough, Margaret River, Augusta, Nannup, Pemberton, Walpole and eventually to Albany.  We found the people in Nannup looked at strangers like they had 2 heads in those days!

We were stopped having a coffee at Walpole before pitching camp.  I'd just managed to pick up the ABC transmission of the NRL Grand Final where the Knights beat Manly.  Only heard the last 20 minutes, but that was enough.  We were approached by 3 elderly women and their male companion who cam and said "do you remember us?  we waved to you 3 days ago!"  Not a lot happens in WA!

Great ride.

looking good leigh, the long wharf reminds me of the fuel wharf at kurnell.

That long wharf is at Busselton - the longest jetty in Australia (Southern Hemisphere? World? can't remember which).

The people in Nannup still look at strangers in a funny way Dabba.  On the Saturday night one of the only places to buy a meal (anything to get away from the BV "catering") was the pub.  After many of us had placed our orders, the "chef" stomped off in a huff and we had to wait until a replacement was roped in.  With 1250 paying customers coming to town you'd think they would have been better organised and prepared.......nup.  I think my lasagne was a frozen TV dinner from the supermarket.  Still.....musn't grumble  :-)
