Sorry to hear that,Steve. How did it happened and did you locked it up? :-(

Have you given your serial # to Police? Remember that if it had been found and not claimed after 6 mths, then it will be auctioned off or donated to charity if it is near useless.

If given serial # to Police and might be found, then you will be contacted on retrieval of stolen bike. Hope you will get it back but it will be a long shot.

all, thanks for good wishes.       bike was in garage with door closed, we were upstairs in the unit we were staying at having lunch, went down at about 1.30pm to get the car out & discovered someone in broad daylight ,in public view had taken the bike. obviously i was staked out. local police have got photo & bike details, also only bike shop at salamander bay has been given details too..

Ok.

Don`t know if low life scum might try to sell it on eBay/gumtree,Cash Converters or to someone for a quick buck. Probably a junkie.

I have no respect to bike thieves who have no regards to owners.

yea snowy that is a good Idea. stephen you should check those places just in case, the sooner the better.

been keeping an eye on gumtree & ebay......... there was only one pawn shop in nelson bay but that was closed down by the police a few years ago because of all the dodgy things they were giving people money for, probably its gone to newcastle or a bigger centre. been holidaying there for about 20years, always thought raymond terrace was thieves paradise ,but i was wrong ,i think nelson bay has become bad as well.

bad new Steve.  Best of luck with recovering.  Thieves are mobile unfortunately.  :-(

It's a nice bike and if they don't make too many changes, it should stand out enough to be recovered... Here's hoping.
