Cycling in Sydney Australia
Somewhat aghast that charity riders and others are still using the dangerous Princess highway to Melb Please consider the following two routes on generally quite back roads. Some days there was virtually no traffic. The first route covers the 1993 Bicycle Victoria ride, a camping trip, and the second route comes from Terry Threlfall’s, (Terrys Cycling adventures), accommodated trip of 2003. Miss your trips and fruit cake Terry. A line per day is shown with some intermediate points and the daily mileage. The Victorian section could now be changed to accommodate various rail trails, so please respond with your new routings. My preference is for Terrys route but it’s the High one with max elevation of 1,550metres and some dirt roads, especially notable into Cooma. and the Hartley start has obvious drawbacks getting there.

and I'm doing a variation on this one shortly starting from Goulburn and incorporating the new 130km+ rail trail from Mansfield to Tallarook.
