I'm a UK track cyclist coming to Sydney for a couple of weeks work in late Jan/early Feb and would like to get some training in. Any advice please on where I can ride and how to book? I have UK track accreditation but will also need to be able to hire a track bike.

You may need to add an international registration on to your race licence as it may come down to insurance coverage even to train at sanctioned sessions. You may want to consider racing. The Clarence St Cyclery Cup will be on 20 January, https://eventdesq.sportstg.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=main&EventD.... There is also club racing on Wed nights http://www.bankstownsportscycling.com/calendar.html and https://stgeorge.cycling.org.au/ and http://lacc.org.au/lets-ride/racing/ LACC are also facebook as are all the Sydney clubs.
I am going racing today so I will ask those that know.

This http://www.sydneycyclist.com/forum/topics/christmas-track-racing-28... may be too early for you but DHBC will probably have other training nights in the new year. Sydney is a big spread out area and doesn't have many tracks
