Where in the world is my bike? 23/4/11

I've put this as a "Where in the world is my bike?" just to keep with the theme, and I'm just dieing to say that I had a great long weekend over easter. Found out when I got back to Sydney yesterday that Sydney has had miserable weather where the people (390 of us), that were participating where I was had perfect weather (cold overnight & perfect during the day).

I find it amazing that sometimes you need something to happen to appreciate what is around you and give you the opportunity to stop and take a photo. Don't get me wrong, while I was riding I was appreciating the surrounding, but I was more involved in the act of riding, than thinking "This would be a great photo".

I only took this photo after my D lock vibrated out of its holder and took off into the grass on the side of the road. I stopped, walked back to get it, turned around and thought WOW, that looks great, hence why I pulled out the faithful mobile phone camera.

So who knows where I was? Were you there too? What did you think of the whole weekend?

Yes, I'd like to go there next year once my children have both left school!  Glad the weather was great for you.  :-)

Found out while I was there that they are doing one at Myrtleford, Vic over the 1st and 2nd of October 2011 (NSW Long weekend)

My first thought was the Mudgee Muster, well picked MB. We went two years ago and had a great time. The good weather too which makes it much more enjoyable. I notice there is no bike seat or trailer, did you leave the girls at home?

Yes Jen, Kids were at home as it was my first time at Mudgee, and wasn't sure of suitability. Got there and found lots of families (alot more than other events I've been to (Dungog and Shoalhaven)). Already planning for the October Long Weekend.

They seem to have it really well set up for families, particularly those with young children. October sounds interesting, I guess they'll send an email out with the details.
