Hey Martin I missed you today at the shed.
My bike burst a back tire while it was sitting outside the shed under the awning.
Could have been worse , could have out in the rain with no spare tire and minimal tools.
Hey Martin, what ended up happening with The Rocks vintage ride last weekend? I slept in till 1pm due to Saturday night shenanigans the night before, and was a little disappointed that I missed it. Are you organising any rides in the near future?
That ride sounds fantastic, and contained all of my favourite things - beer, sushi, cycling, conversation........ And now I'm even MORE disappointed I didn't make it!! Let me know if you are planning a re-run or something different, perhaps the 2nd weekend in Sept?
"I bought a copy of a rides around Sydney book. Should look into it for a nice slow riding place. SOP is called cycling nirvana in this book!"
Bike Rides Around Sydney? That is a good book, I reckon! (I may be biased.)
Sydney Park, SOP/Bicentennial Park, Lane Cove National Park are all good slow riding places in the "inner" suburbs. Mt Annan Botanical Gardens is a good outer urban venue. But you have to pay a nominal fee to get into that one.
Hi Martin,
Hope you are well. I was just looking at your message to Stephan and thinking your philosophy of cycling has such a spiritual sense to it in that it fosters being in the present moment, going slowly enough to notice what is in the here and now.
Hi Martin,
I'm busy Sunday (Sustainable House Day Ride), but may head out on Saturday, probably to Castle Hill/Kellyville area to do some mapping. Are you interested in coming along? Would you drive there, or ride? Saturday looks like it's going to be warm, so I'd probably start earlyish.

I think someone posted a photo of their Jim Bundy/Frank Conceicao resprayed frame on this list, but can't find it.
I'd love to have another look at the photos as I believe my frame to be almost identical. Before I have it resprayed I'd like to confirm whether it is also a Bundy or not.

Haven't seen you for a long time.
I guess you may have to wait for the next swap meet.

The shed is open every THursday ,Wednesday and Sunday unless its a holiday.
It'll be good to see you again.
Martin,
is your Aust Post frame still for sale? If so, can you send me a pic? To kabir@chariot.net.au
Thanks,
Sam

Please reply if you know where I can find it.
cheers Michael
