Hate 2 stroke bike conversions

I had one of stinky noisy rider slowed down and speed past me on Liverpool railtrail 2 weeks ago and I overtooked him on my leg powered bike.I hate them for blowing stinky fumes to my face. It should be registered as a mini motorbike and not to be on SUP or cycleway.

we get a lot of these 2 stroke guys out west.

Last week I saw one riding away from a small spot fire along the M7, rang the fire brigade to report it.  Considering how much grass was burnt out it is possible they just watched it so it did not get out of hand.

As one of my n + 1, I have an electric bike, so the only differences between it and the stink bikes are the smell, noise and top speed.  I have an aversion to the stink bikes, but the way that I look at them is that it's one less car and so I tolerate them!  It probably pollutes more than 4 cylinder motors, and we could potentially find our bike paths over run by them, but I suspect that will not be the case.

I also have an electric, no problem there.  The difference is power output, noise, smell and speed.  That is a lot of differences.  Add to that the possibility that most of these guys are drivers that have lost their licence and you have a person that generally doesn't give a shit.

A generalisation I know, hence why I wrote generally, if anyone has an objection.

No-one should overtake anyone on anthing at that speed differential. Just another idiot 2 stroke powered or otherwise.
